Regulations-Size-Limits for 2018
2018 Gulf of Maine Cod and Haddock Regulations
Captain Bob Yeomans and his crew are always watching for any changes in the regulations for every species targeted. Haddock fishing has been very limited off our waters and cod fishing has not been allowed at all. The latest word from National Marine Fisheries/NOAA for 2018 is that we will have a 12 haddock per person catch limit (17” minimum size) This limit will probably change as of May 1st. We will be updating this info for you as it becomes available, but remain very optimistic for a successful 2018 season.
The captain and crew of the Sydney Lee will be posting any changes in the regulations.

Why can’t we keep just one cod, especially if it already appears dead?
